Noah Rosen
Noah
Noah is confident, easygoing, and endlessly curious. Noah loves basketball, building robots, chess club, and coding. Some of Noah's favorite things are sushi, the Knicks, his PlayStation, and his dog Max. Noah is especially proud of making the varsity basketball team as an 8th grader and building a working robot for the science fair. "chanting from the Torah in front of his whole family and having an epic party with his friends" — Noah, on becoming a Bar Mitzvah

Evening Celebration

Parashat Noach
Parashat Noach tells the story of Noah, the flood, the ark, and the tower of Babel. Noah was especially drawn to the patience it took to build the ark for years, even when no one else believed in it, because it reminds him that doing the right thing for the planet is worth it even when it is not the popular choice; he has been practicing his Torah trope every week with Cantor Levine and will chant the haftarah as well.
Noah Rosen will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah.
Waves of Change Beach Cleanup
Noah's mitzvah project is organizing beach and river cleanups to fight plastic pollution. He has always loved the water and wanted to help protect it after learning how much plastic ends up in the ocean every year. Noah is organizing monthly cleanup days with his robotics club and building a robot that helps sort recyclables. Noah hopes it will inspire other kids to take small actions that add up to a real difference for the planet.
Goal: 1,000 lbs of trash removed and $2,000 raised for cleanup supplies
